XOOM Energy Sheds Light on Ohio Energy Options

February 03, 2014

XOOM Energy is no stranger to the Buckeye State – consumers in markets across Ohio have been taking advantage of the competitive rates on natural gas for some time.  Now that XOOM has expanded its Ohio product line to include electricity, shoppers will enjoy freedom of choice on all their energy needs.

In addition to traditional electricity products, XOOM will also be offering renewable options.  Homes and businesses served by AEP Ohio, Dayton Power & Light and Duke Energy are now included in the XOOM Energy national footprint and will have access to the plans, products and services provided by the industry’s fastest growing retailer.

Entry into the electricity market will allow XOOM to further strengthen its presence within the Ohio community.  “We know Ohio and we know it well” says Robert Blake, Chief Operating Officer. “Our natural gas service has been available for quite a while, and we’ve worked hard to build a good working relationship with the utility companies.  We’ll be able to take what we’ve learned thus far and build best practices for the future.”

Although product launches can be great platforms for reaching new customers, existing XOOM customers in Ohio and other markets can expect to be hearing from the company as well. XOOM Energy is working to expand both their customer service and loyalty programs, and will be focused on adding new products and services that will enhance both the natural gas and electricity options currently available in across the country.
